I Big in Falkirk is back and bigger than ever. Central Scotland’s burgeoning multi-art festival takes place on Saturday 5 and Sunday 6 May and features an impressive musical line-up that includes 805 icons The Human League and Heaven 17 (pictured), while the winner of Making It, a competition to find the next big musical thing will also take to the stage. Fatboy Slim last year, Rockness returns to the bonny banks of Scotland’s most celebrated loch with some of the world’s biggest names in the world of electronic, dance and rock music in tow. The Chemical Brothers, Groove Armada, 2 Many DJs, The Cuban Brothers, Rob da Bank and Daft Punk (pictured) are just some of the more than 70 acts that will take to the festival’s four stages. The site will also feature a cinema, silent disco, 24-hour café and fully licensed theme bars, and is expected to host around 35,000 people each day. The festival takes place on Saturday 9 and Sunday 10 June.

Dust off your imaginations and reach for those sharpened pencils. The List One Minute Wonder Film Competition deadline is on Friday 16 March, so if you're harbouring a burning desire to try your hand at film writing, there’s no better time than the present.
The rules couldn’t be simpler. Write a one minute script on the theme ‘WlLDl’. fill in the application form (downloadable at list.co.uk) and email it to oneminute@list.co.uk
