Brighton duo Blood Red Shoes have followed The White Stripes blueprint, but have flipped it with Laura-Mary Carter on vocals and guitar and Steven Ansell on drums and heading down a raw grunge route. Though much like the Stripes, their sound belies the fact that just two people are making such a raucous racket.
