SPECIALIST ADVISORS
We are seeking specialist advisors to help us make decisions about funding and policy development. This will include artistic evaluations of projects and performances supported by the Scottish Arts Council. It would also include working in partnership with Scottish Arts Council officers, representatives and staff.
We need independent advisors with expert knowledge of crafts, dance, drama, literature, music, visual arts, arts education, new media and combined arts. We also need specialist advice in areas such as equalities, marketing, intellectual property rights and business planning.
We welcome applications from experienced arts professionals and artists to assist and advise on the quality assessment in arts programming in a range ofvenues throughout Scotland and in applications for funding from individual practitioners and arts organisations. Those applying need to demonstrate their knowledge of artistic and/0r arts education developments at a national and international level.
Specialist Advisors will be appointed annually, up to a maximum of three consecutive terms of service. GRANTS ADMINISTRATOR

As part of the Grants Administration Team, you will be responsible for managing, administering and developing processes which support the distribution of all Scottish Arts Council funds to the arts in Scotland. You will provide administrative support at all stages of the grants process (including data entry, preparing formal grant offer letters
and providing information to applicants and staff). Applicants will have experience of administrative and financial processes, as well as excellent organisational and interpersonal skills.
