I No sooner had Glasgow’s Cafe India confirmed that it would be leaving its North Street address (long targeted for redevelopment) and moving into the city centre than the restaurant next to the Mitchell Library went up in flames. Reports blame a kitchen fire.

I A bit out of town, in Musselburgh, the Glasshouse at Eskmills is a new venture from chef Steve Adair, who was the initial player at the Gallery restaurant in the Weston Link and formerly of the Tower.
