’Over and Over' was one of the singles of the year. a subtle. playful incessant glitch of a pop record. But. while their unassuming nature is at the fore on

record. the perfect electro pop of Hot Chip hecomes a lolloping. rangey heast when filtered through their

sveahle live band. Their chameleon-like tendencies are so apposite for Optimo's impatient playlist that they Wllflllly swing from new heat to garage punk to studied funk and hack. all in the name of bruising dancefloor eclectica.
