Sales experience would be an advantage. but more important is that you approach challenges with enthusiasm, can develop great client relationships and work on your own initiative to get results.
You must have a passion for the arts. entertainment and social scene in Glasgow and have the energy and enthusiasm to effectively promote our portfolio of publications to restaurants, bars. shops and other local businesses. Essential qualities are confidence. excellent communication skills, some experience of Microsoft office including Excel and Word and the ability to work to deadlines and targets to achieve outstanding results.
The successful candidate must be a fast-learner with the drive to take on a key role within our dynamic Advertising Sales team. This is a full time position with an initial four month contract. a salary based on experience and a generous bonus scheme. This post is based in our Glasgow office and will involve occasional work (around one morning per week) in our Edinburgh office.

New Entrants Animation Training Scheme
The New Entrants Animation Training Scheme (NEATS) is recruiting six people to train 10 months full-time as assistant animators in Scotland’s leading studios.
The areas in which training and work experience will be given include stop-motion, traditional drawn and computer-generated animation for TV series. ads. TV specials and feature films.
We seek applications from highly motivated people with proven ability in one or more of the types of animation listed above. NEATS aims to introduce talented animators with little industry experience to the working practices of animation studios.
You should be able to demonstrate your creative ability with examples of your work. and be familiar with computer software such as Microsoft Word and Adobe Photoshop. In addition, you may have skills and qualities that you believe would transfer effectively to this vibrant industry.
Trainees are paid a training allowance. travel expenses and. if applicable. a contribution to childcare costs.
