Gossip, chat and rumour from the gallery floor
I It's good to see that those involved in High Art can have a giggle, put on an animal costume and get into the spirit of the Edinburgh Festival. The Art Festival press office sent us this: ‘Five of Peter Liversidge’s Proposals for the Edinburgh Festival were realised at the weekend. One of these was for the staff to wear woodland creature outfits to and from and during work and another was to grow vegetables on Calton Hill. Attached is a pic of the woodland creatures planting spring onions. Richard lngleby is the fox'. An exhibition of sculpture and installation work is on display in the gallery in an exhibition called Thread, and if you’re lucky you may catch one of the gallery attendants doing a bunny hop over a Carl Andre.
