Anyone who lists among their influences, Karl Marx, Groucho Marx, Sandy Denny, Hamish Henderson and Crazy Horse is alright by us. The legendary singer of the ‘muckle sangs’ that’s the big songs of ancient traditional Scots ballads to me and you makes a welcome return to Glasgow. Still regarded as Scotland’s greatest singing socialist he can reel a crowd in with his wit and wisdom like few others can.
