THE OMEN
Twentieth Century Fox have been waiting a long time for this moment. Having backed the cash cow that was the 1976 version of The Omen and its recalcitrant, vaguely demonic offspring, Fox decided to sit on their laurels and await the coming of the beast. And so it is and so it shall be that on Tuesday 6 June 2006 (6/6/06 geddit?), a brand new version of Richard Donner and David Seltzer’s classic horror hits cinemas. This one sees Irishman John Behind Enemy Lines Moore at the helm, working to Seltzer’s original screenplay, and stars Julia Stiles.
