ACTORS (FOUR POSTS), PRODUCER, DIRECTOR
The National Theatre of Scotland, one of the most exciting and important initiatives in European theatre for mang gears, hasjust launched its inaugural programme.
We are looking to recruit four actors, a producer and director to form the inaugural NTS Young Compang. The Young Compang will be mentored bg senior members ofthe NTS team.
As an ACTOR candidate gou will be aged 18-26, able to demonstrate a high level of acting abilitg and have three gears of performance experience in an informal or formal setting (1 gear contract).
As a DIRECTOR or PRODUCER candidate gou will also be aged 18—26, able to demonstrate extensive experience of theatre directing and
producing and have a particular flair that makes gou stand out from the crowd (18 month contract).
All posts are Glasgow based but will necessitate travel in Scotland and begond.

THE BRUCE MlllAR DRAMA AWARD - £5000
The Bruce Millar Memorial Trust's annual award creates opportunities in direction for graduates/diplomats of the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama. Worth £5000. the award supports work experience in direction in television or a major Scottish theatre company.
Applications are invited for the 2006 award. and forms (available from the Secretary, BMMT, Caidrew Farm, Drymen. G63 ODN) should be returned by 6 January 2006. Finalists will be interviewed in Glasgow during February 2006 and the award will be presented at a public event on Sunday 26 February at the RSAMD.
