Success can do nasty things to people. Before his million selling album White Ladder he was a hugely celebrated, if unsung, musical hero who was brother-in-law to the Orbital boys. Now he’s lumped in with all manner of MOR shite. He’s better than all that, and these shows and new album should remind us of this very fact.
