I Dalziel + Scullion presents a new multi-city installation based on over 200 new wind turbine sites in rural Scotland. The photographic images will go up large in central locations in Edinburgh and Glasgow from Sunday 22 May, and in Aberdeen, Birmingham, Dundee, Liverpool, London, Newcastle and Manchester. A discussion - ‘Landscape, Energy and Widerness’ - takes place at the Ex-Servicemen’s Club in Huntly Aberdeenshire at 2pm on Sunday 22 May, beginning with a trip to Clashindarroch, site of a proposed Wind Farm and starting point for D+S’s ‘Breath Taking’. This picture shows a piece of equipment used in the installation of a new wind turbine site. The nose cone shown is held on a ‘jig’ before three 40m long blades are attached. There you go.
