Cover story: Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy
Back in the 19808, a strange, culty television drama managed to break out of its sci-fi ghetto and worm its way into our hearts. The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy may have started out as a humble idea, but it was bold enough to give the answer to life, the universe and everything. No wonder its author Douglas Adams ultimately wanted it made into a film. Twenty-five years on, that film — scripted by Adams himself — is finally set for release, starring Martin Freeman. We meet the man from The Office, and offer a bluffer’s guide to help you separate your Slartibartfasts from your Zaphod Beeblebroxes. See feature, page 22.
