It’s slipped under the radar a bit this year but Big Big Country is back with a considered line-up of the best in international americana. Among those scheduled to appear at the festival, which runs from 11 to 21 May, are Jimmy Webb, Steve Forbert, Eliza Gilkyson, Vic Chesnutt, Southern Culture on the Skids, Peter Rowan and many more. Big in Falkirk returns over 30 April and 1 May with a typically eclectic line-up. With everything from theatre, circus, film and children’s performances, the musical attractions include Les McKeown’s Bay City Rollers and Heather Small but the rest of the two all-day music bill promises to be more appealing and will be announced in the coming weeks.
