Theatre Technician
£11,496 - £14,374, Interim grades, 30 hours per week
East Kilbride Arts Centre. Old Coach Road. is a dynamic venue. prowding an extremely diverse and wide-reaching Arts Programme. The 1.08 seat studio theatre. set within the Arts Centre. stages a very wide range of performance types. including dance. drama. bands. comedy. films etc. presented by professional touring companies and local amateur groups.
We are seeking a Technician with a minimum of two years" professmnal theatre experience in managing and operating technical systems. including lighting. sound. audio visual and 35mm film (preparation and operation). You wrll have responsibility for all aspects of technical provision within the Arts Centre and may occasionally work within other South Lanarkshire venues.
You wrll be subject to a criminal records check provided through Disclosure Scotland.

A highly organised individual is required to support the Box Office Manager with all aspects of running one of Glasgow’s busiest ticket sales operations, management of the Box Office team, liaison with other companies and venues, and with the Tron's senior management.
Must be a team player able to take responsibility and work flexible hours. Theatre Box Office and Customer Service experience essential
