Oriental Rug Assistant
The Nomads Tent in Edinburgh is looking for a new member of the team for our warehouse of tribal art. We are looking for an energetic, motivated and warm person over 25 who has a driving licence. An artistic eye, and a practical temperament are essential to help customers find oriental rugs, jewellery or furniture.

EAST LOTHIAN COUNCIL Arts Service
East Lothian Council is seeking proposals from crafts practition- ers working in a variety of mediums who would like to be con- sidered for an 8 week residency programme at Prestongrange Museum in Prestonpans. The Museum is the former site of a colliery, brick works and pottery.
It is envisaged that the crafts practitioners will also run a short series of workshops with pupils from local schools and work- shops during the school holiday period.
East Lothian
The outcome of the project will be to produce creative pieces to be exhibited at Prestongrange and then at venues through- out East Lothian.
Number of residencies: 3
Fee: Residency £4,000. Plus materials
Dates: Residency from May - August 2004. Workshop blocks from August 2004 to March 2005

quickly establish reliable sources and recognise biased. amateur and/or incompetent ones
assimilate information gleaned from several Internet resources to support a research task.

DV Documentary for Production Managers Date: Wed 28 April 2004

This one day intensive course is aimed at new factual production man- agers and will cover the essential s of DV documentary for production. The c0urse will discuss how DV has changed the way programmes are made and how people work. It will also explore the ethics and morals of using small cameras relating to the ever-thorny issues of release forms and consent. Participants will get the opportunity to see and handle a choice of cameras and discuss which equipment should be used for different types of production.
