nva organisation, one of the UK's most successful and innovative arts charities, is planning a series of exciting events over the next two years including a major public event to be held in Skye in the summer 2005. It now seeks to appoint two exceptional people for the following posts:
Project Manager
To develop and coordinate these events throughout. This is a challenging role, involving significant logistical plan- ning, team coordination and budget management. Our ideal person will have several years experience in event management at a senior level, be extremely well organ- ised, practical and an excellent communicator.
Audience Development Manager
To develop and implement a strategy for increasing the size and range of attendance at these events, working with local agencies. carrying out market research and coordinating campaigns. Our ideal person will be an experienced marketer, a confident communicator, good with statistics and very practical.
Both posts will operate flexible hours over an 18 month contract, available as salaried or freelance. For further

This is an exciting opportunity to work on a project being run by the School of Design and Media Arts and supported by the European Social Fund.
'Media Masters Online' aims to develop the capacity of Napier University's School
of Design and Media Arts to deliver high quality. post-graduate education and training in creative media project development.
You will assist with research into factors affecting delivery and take-up of on-line learning in the areas of film and multimedia practice and in the evaluation of piloted materials. methods and resources. There may be the opportunity to register for
an MPhil by research.
With a good Honours degree (I or 2. I) in a relevant subject area. you will have knowledge of screen based media practice and education.
