GAY JOY, LUVELY & WIGGLE DROP THE ANCHOR Ocean Terminal, Edinburgh, Sat 1 Nov
Proving that not all shopping centres are rubbish, Ocean Terminal is again getting a chance to prove that its cavernous bar and restaurant area also doubles up as a curiously lively club space. This time it’s playing host to three of the city’s very best gay and mixed nights: Joy, Luver and Wiggle.
‘This is the first time we’ve done something at Ocean Terminal,’ explains promoter Davie from Luvely. ‘But we’ve heard good things about it from other promoters who’ve run successful nights there, like Trendy Wendy. 80 it’ll be nice to give people a new space and see what they think of it.’
‘All the people who run these clubs are friends and we tend to find that it’s generally the same people who frequent them,’ David adds. ‘80 it’s just nice to put something on for the people who keep coming back and help to make it a community, somewhere special they can go and see everyone
