Healthy Respect requires a creative designer to join the marketing/communications team of this Sexual Health Demonstration Project.
Within the framework of Healthy Respect’ 5 brand guidelines, you’ll be responsible for the development of effective design solutions and artworking of a range of print materials — including leaflets, training manuals and newsletters.
You should have a degree — or equivalent in graphic design — with one to two years’ commer cial design to print experience.

The Edinburgh Science Festival operates a Schools
Programme which tours science shows and workshops to over 60,000 pupils throughout Scotland. We are currently

recruiting staff to support, sell and deliver this tour.
Performers (20 - 30 posts)
Are you lively, energetic. good with kids? We require physically dramatic performers to deliv- er events to schools all over Scotland. Performance skills essential although training is given. Some knowledge of science is prefer- able. Driving desirable. Must be based in Glasgow or Edinburgh. Pay: 2210 - £260/week. Dates of contract: Jan - Mar 2004
Touring Support Assistant
We require a resourceful. practical. well organ- ised and level-headed individual to provide support for performers out on tour. Key duties include preparation of event props. support for directors and filming of shows in schools. A science background is essential and experi- ence of delivering shows desirable. Pay: 2250 - £280/week. Dates of contract: Nov - Jan (full time). Feb - April (part-time)
Box Office Administrator
We require a well organised. computer-literate individual to run the schools box office and manage telesales staff. A good knowledge of Access and other Microsoft applications is essential, and experience of managing tours. logistics and telesales is desirable. Pay: 2280 - £300/week. Dates of contract: Nov 2003 - April 2004

We require lively, enthusiastic telesales staff to sell the tour. Key duties include selling to schools and updating records. An excellent phone man- ner and telesales experience are essential. Knowledge of Access is desirable. Pay. 2220/ week Dates of contract Nov 2003 - Apri 2034
Bio-Bubble: the amazing inflatable cell
Bio-Bubble is an inflatable. surreal perform— ance space that allows students to transport themselves inside a giant. scientifically accu- rate human cell. Tc deliver this experience to schools in the UK we need:
Actors (1 female, 1 male)
Inside the Bio-Bubble we perform Snog. a highly energetic and theatrical show of young love. We require 2 physically dramatic actors for this show. who must be young-looking (both playing age 17) and able to perform 3 shows per day. Pay: £200/week (rehearsals). £379/week (touring) Dates of contract: Dec 2003 - Apr 2004 (extension possible)
Stage Manager/Technician
We require a well organised, resourceful person to tour Bio-Bubble (inflatable theatre) to high schools throughout the UK. Key duties include set-up of Bio-Bubble. running simple light and sound cues. driving the van and carrying out running repairs. Pay: £200/week (rehearsals). £379-E479/week (touring) Dates of contract: Dec 2003 - Apr 2004 (extension possible)
