Based at the Lillie Art Gallery, Milngavie, you will be joining our Cultural Services Team which aims to deliver new programmes, projects, events and activities which promote culture, local history and social inclusion.
You will provide a reception and enquiry service, assist with the operation ofthe Museum/Gallery shop or other sales outlet, assist with the mounting of museum/ gallery displays and exhibitions, events and activities.
You should be an enthusiastic individual with an interest in local history, visual arts or social history, have a good standard of education, experience of working with the public in a museum/gallery environment, and knowledge of collections maintenance. Retail and events experience is desirable.

WRITERS’ FACTORY: SCREENWRITING CO-ORDINATOR
We are inviting tenders for a contract to deliver the above service assisting strategic development of scriptwriting in Scotland.
A fee of £150 per day (£27,000 in total) is available for a total of 180 days, worked over a period of 18 months, from February 2003 - July 2004. Applicants will need to demonstrate experience of scriptwriting development in the audio-visual sector, both in the UK and internationally, together with a knowledge of the structures of Further and Higher Education in Scotland.
