There were people who reacted very badly to Daniel Kitson's 2002 Fringe show. Something. Having stormed Edinburgh the previous year with the darkly sweet Love, Innocence and the Word Cock, many felt he had somehow betrayed his Shy, stumbling, shambling, stuttering social reject persona by having the temerity to show a hitherto unforeseen confidence. The Perrier panel disagreed and he tripped away with the big prize. Now he's back and looking set to stay cock 0' north.
