This year, to celebrate Saint Andrew’s Day, Scotland’s International Day, the fantastic Saint Andrews Day Glenfiddich Spirit of Scotland Awards have been developed. This Awards scheme has been devised by Glenfiddich to mark the incredible achievements of the independent minded individuals who inspire our nation through their contributions to Scottish cultural life in all its guises. A judging panel selects the nominees but you can have your say in determining the final winners by voting on-line at www.g|enfiddich.com/spirit.
The winners, including the prestigious Scotsman of the Year Award will be announced at a glittering Awards ceremony in November to mark Saint Andrew’s Day.
The Awards cover seven categories: sport, business, innovator, the arts, creative talent,
' food and ambassador. Amongst this year’s nominees are the Mull Historical Society, Billy Boyd, Jack Vettriano and Lynn Ramsay.
