ARTS TRAINEESHIPS
We are looking for Scottish arts organisations to offer training in the arts to individuals from minority ethnic backgrounds living in Scotland. Ten traineeships in skills ranging from creative, managerial, technical,
marketing or educational are available.
MAINSTREAMING SCHEME
Grants ranging from £2,500 to £20,000 are available to support minority ethnic-led and core-funded arts organisations and arts venues across Scotland to meet challenges of mainstreaming cross—cultural arts activity.
Both schemes fall under the capacity building and opportunity elements of our Cultural Diversity Strategy, and are covered by Section 37 and 38 of
the Race Relations Act (1976) as amended.

The Scottish Arts Council is offering 10 awards of £30,000 each to individual artists with a major record of achievement who live and work in Scotland.
We want to encourage artists across every discipline — crafts, dance, digital media, drama, theatre, film, video, literature, all forms of music, photography, visual arts, architecture and other artforms.
The awards provide a unique opportunity to experiment and realise imaginative ideas in a major project.
