QSimon Starling: ‘Djungel’ Until Sun I 1 Aug. The first major Scottish solo show for Simon Starling. For the exhibition. Starling has taken the vivid designs of the Austrian architect and designer Josef Frank as the starting point. Using 16 woodblock prints made from the timber of a West Indian cedar tree - shipped in from Trinidad — Starling has hand-printed a tropical design by Frank onto 16m of fabric.
