EDUCATION 8: OUTREACH DEVELOPMENT OFFICER (temporary)
We are looking for an extraordinary individual who is totally committed to making theatre and drama as accessible as possible to as many people as possible.
We need someone with the experience and ability to oversee a team of Workshop Directors and to continue to develop. implement and contrihute to Borderline's audience development programme. youth theatres. young person's touring productions and main house touring productions funded through a variety of funders.
We need someone with:
I Appropriate Drama or teaching qualification
I Considerable experience of working ‘.'.'|lll various client groups including schools
I Knowledge and awareness of current events in drama and education
I l;xperience of leading and motivating others

macRobert
working with and for young people
Work is currently underway on a £6 million capital refurbishment of the macRobert. Due for completion in Autumn 2002, it will house Scotland’s first dedicated space for children’s theatre, a creche, workshop, state of the art cinema, caf -bar, children‘s gallery and middle scale theatre.
We are looking for very special people to join our dynamic team to position the macRobert as a national centre of excellence for work with and for young people.
Head of Education
This is a senior position within the macRobert working closely with the Director to develop and implement a strategy for the macRobert education and outreach work with and for children and young people. You will hold a degree or qualification in the arts. film or education or have at least two years experience of working in arts or film education. Salary £18.000-21,000p.a.
Programme Co-ordinator
You will coordinate a very busy mixed programme of activity. including our live and cinema programme. macRobert productions. macRobert youth groups and projects. You will have at least two years experience in an arts organisation and ideally be educated to degree level in the arts. Salary £16.000-18.000p.a.
Assistant to the Director
You will support the work of the Director administratively and secretarially and in particular work with the Director to maximise fundraising opportunities. You will have an arts or marketing qualification or at least two years relevant experience. Salary £15.000-16.000p.a.
Finance Manager
Responsible for the efficient management and monitoring of all internal financial systems and procedures within macRobert. You will be qualified to at least HND in accountancy with extensive experience of budgetary control and reconciliation. Salary £17.000-18.000p.a.
Marketing Officer
Assisting in the development of the macRobert's audience and the raising of the macRobert's profile locally and nationally. You will have at least one year's work experience in a similar or related marketing field. Salary £12.000pa.
