Writer and campaigner Alastair McIntosh is a founding member of the Isle of Eigg Trust, and helped the residents of Eigg become the first Scottish community ever to oust their Iaird from his estate. In his book Soul and Soil he shows how it is still possible for individuals and communities to take on the might of corporate power and emerge victonrious.
