Philip Reeves. born in I93]. is one of Scotland's leading abstract artists. His work is inspired by the landscape and more recently. his imagery reflects the urban scene. To celebrate his 70th birthday. this exhibition features innova- tive prints from the 1950s to the present day. Fantasy To Nightmare: A Glimpse Into Callot’s World Until Sat l2 Jan. Jacques (‘allot ( l592—lo35) was one of the greatest artists of the 17th century and one of the first to use etching as a creative medium. This exhibition of selected prints offers an insight into Callot's varied artistic output.
Glasgow 1901: Views Of An Exhibition Until Sat 19 Jan. Glasgow‘s International Exhibition of 190] featured elaborate exhibition halls. gardens. tea and coffee houses. pavilions from around the globe and a new civic art gallery. Scottish artist Muirhead Bone
( 1876—1953) recorded these sights and a small collection of his works is presented in the display.
