Renowned for his richly colottred paintings on wood llodgkin. who describes himself as a painter of feelings rather than ideas. is also a gifted printmaker. For the exhibition at the Ingleby (iallery w ho held a retrospective exhibition of his prints in I998. llodgkin will be showing ten small format prints which combine etching with carborundum and a final hand colouring to produce their richly textured surface.
