The Yorkhill NHS Trust in Glasgow is Scotland’s only Paediatric
Trust. As well as inpatients, outpatients and day care for
children and young people (adolescents), it includes maternity
serVices and community paediatrics. The Trust prayides
a tertiary serVice in a number of speCiaIties for children and
yOung people from the West of Scotland and Scotland
as a Whole. We are committed to developing serVices
speCitically for young people and Wish to appomt a Youth
Worker to work With and to help in the development of sen/ices
for young people in the Trust.
We are looking fora FfT Youth Worker With a Youth Worker
qualification or equrvalent but ideally With Postgraduate
Community Education Diploma.

ART COMMISSION
Artists are invited to apply for the commission to create a series of artworks which will form the perimeter of a new housing development at Glencaim Street, Motherwell. It is intended that the artist work with two groups of local school children with special needs. The work with the children will include researching and considering designs for the boundary treatment, the manufacture of which will subsequently be the Artist’s responsibility. As well as artistic quality, a key require- ment of this project will be that the artistic process be appropriate to the targeted age group. It is intended that the project commences in July 2001 for comple- tion in December 2001.
The work will attract an Artist’s fee of approximately £12,500 and will be funded by the Scottish Arts Council, Scottish Homes Wider Action Funding and North Lanarkshire Council. Project details are available by writing to the Association at the address below.
