Sir Simon Rattle conducts the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra as part of the Royal Concert Hall’s International Series. Early in his career he was conductor of Glasgow's BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra but is now best known for his ei hteen-year-long relations ip with the City of Birmin ham Symphony Orchestra. Rattle as numerous other associations with orchestras at home and abroad and he is no stranger to the Vienna Phil.,
