LABEL SHOWCASE
Reinforced at Man a La Belle Angele, Edinburgh, Fri Nov. If you thought you'd get a whole month to recover from your last drum 8: bass club experience, think again, for Manga is promising to tempt you onto the dancefloors once more with a Reinforced special this Friday. Having released numerous anthems
over the years. from the likes of 4 Hero, Goldie and Doc Scott to name but a few, no one would argue with Reinforced's reputation. Manga are also well aware of their talents - nine artists from the label have worked on the soundtrack to Manga's animated epic 'Fist Of The North Star’ (episodes are
currently showing on Channel 4).
Tonight's two-room extravaganza begins with a special screening of 'Fist Of The North Star’ at 9pm, before the real mayhem begins. Label manager and one half of 4 Hero Marc Mac. together with promising new boy Seiji. will be hoping to show off Reinforced's impressive diversity in Manga's back room: undoubtedly a major attraction in itself. Meanwhile. main room business is in the hands of the mighty Randall (pictured), up-and-coming Dllproducer Stretch, and master lyricist MCMG, supported by Kid and G-Mac.
Considered by many as the godfather of mixing. Randall is making his debut in Scotland, having never performed his decknical wizardry north of the border before tonight. So be gentle with him, won‘t you? (Amy M)
