Neal Beggs Glasgow-based artist Neal Beggs has created an installation for the entrance corridor space at the venue, consisting of two large blocks of text on the corridor walls. One wall lists the 284 Scottish Munros (mountains over 3000ft) while opposite is a list of the 304 multi-storey tower blocks built in Glasgow between the 19508 and the 19705.

Created in collaboration with Street Level’s Malcolm Dixon, this exhibition looks at the trend in new media, featuring video art, lightworks, digital art and web- based art. Petty Crimes Until Mon 25 Sep. Exploring the nature of child’s play, an exhibition of sculpture, photographs, paintings and video with Robin Lowe, Sebastian Kusenberg and Kenny Hunter among the line-up of artists.
Measures Until Sun 1 Oct. Glasgow School ofArt lecturer David Bellingham creates a series of installation pieces for the gallery based on measurements. Text, light and audio works, along with a display case of rulers found in Glasgow over a number of years, are featured in the exhibition.

Missionary For Art - Charles Heath Wilson 1809-1882 Until Sun 10 Sep (Mackintosh Gallery). This exhibition looks at the life and work of Charles Heath Wilson, an architect, designer, illustrator and impresario of the arts. Wilson took up the headship of the Glasgow School ofArt in 1849 and was a propagandist for Glasgow’s acquisition of the McLellan Collection and the Gallery. James D. Robertson: A Retrospective View Until Fri 1 Sep (Mackintosh Gallery). A tribute to James Robertson’s long teaching career at Glasgow School of Art (1959—1998), featuring over 100 paintings.

Glasgow Tea Rooms: Mackintosh And Miss Cranston Until Tue 19 Sep. An exhibition looking at the city‘s famous ‘Miss Cranston’ tea rooms and the designs Mackintosh created for them. Ten Religious Masterpieces From The Royal Collection Until Sat 16 Sep. The only Scottish showing of drawings by Leonardo, Guercino, Castiglione, Durer and Michelangelo drawn from the Royal Library at Windsor Castle. Connoisseurs, Collectors And Copyists Until Sat 16 Sep. Towards the end of the 181h century, many of the finest collections of Old Master drawings in Europe belonged to British collectors and artists. The market for reproductions also increased and some of the leading printmakers of the day produced drawings, both etched and engraved, to satisfy the growing demand.
Goya: Seeing It In Black And White Until Sat 9 Sep. Celebrating the 2501b anniversary of the birth of Spanish painter Francisco Goya, an exhibition of etchings, and Goya’s major oil painting 'liburcio l”rcz y Cucrvo, on loan from the Metropolitan Museum ofArt in New York goes on display.
