Freelance Arts Specialists
Scottish Opera For All, the education unit of Scotland’s national opera company, wishes to offer various short-term contracts from September 2000 onwards, to musicians with a genuine commitment to arts in education and proven abilities in a creative / workshop context.
You will be working primarily with children and young people.
A significant proportion of Scottish Opera For All’s output focuses on multi-arts activities. Experience and enthusiasm for working in creative partnerships with artists across a wide range of performance arts disciplines would be highly advantageous.
Interested candidates should have a minimum of three years’ classical music training with repetiteur experience. Excellent piano skills are essential and some experience of electronic keyboards is desirable.

Scottish Opera For All also requires Stage Management staff on short~term contracts from the end of September for 4-6 weeks
for a large-scale Children’s Music Theatre production, in association with North Ayrshire Council.
Previous experience of opera or music theatre production for children is desirable. Closing date for applications is Friday 18th August. Interviews to be held in Glasgow the week commencing Monday 28th August.

Video Production Tutor
Suitably qualified/experienced tutor required to teach all elements of video production including Editing (Avid, Premiere)
Camera (3 Chip Digital) Sound, Lighting and Script Development.
Candidates should be good a communicator and willing to be flexible as part of a small team. Driving licence would be advantageous.
