A chance to step aboard one of Britain’s newly-built tall ships. The STA Stavros S Niarchos is the newest brig in Britain and is undertaking a Round Britain Maiden Voyage with Greenock as its first port of call. To celebrate, there will be a Quayfest with live entertainment, displays, street theatre and face-painting.

If you go down to the Wet 'n' Wild Safari, you’ll certainly be in for a big surprise. Jam packed with activities for kids of all ages, there's a fun-filled timetable of sports, crafts, activities and shows. For the more active, the Leisure Centre is the best place to be, with pool activities including swimming, inflatable fun and snorkelling as well as sports hall activities like football, basketball, golf, cheerleading and circus skills. The under 125 can still have plenty of fun outside in the park courtyard with Wild Adventures,
a day of face-painting and mask-making, a Tarzan picnic, jungle trail, puppet show, book bingo and the East Glasgow Concert Band. So head on down to the park and let the kids 60 Wild before it’s time to go back to school.
