Creative Resistance Until Fri 12 May. To celebrate International Workers Day, a selection of artists show work which challenges political and economic relationships based on oppression and discrimination. Owen Logan’s work in Nigeria looks at the experience of the oil industry among the country’s minorities; Dave Sinclair, Keith Pattison, Rob Moon and Craig Maclean photograph struggles and campaigns including the Liverpool Dock Strike, The Miners Strike and the Poll Tax; Kohoutek present video material from the World Trade Organisation’s meeting in 1999 and Chad McCail gives his interpretation of the effects of living in a society where power, money and economic and social relations are omnipotent.

A Shepherd’s Life Until Sun 28 May. Free. Over 50 paintings and drawings by Scottish painter Victoria Crowe, which pays tribute to the life and work of Jenny Armstrong, a professional shepherdess who spent her entire life in the Pentland Hills. The display also features photographs and recorded interviews with some ofArmstrong’s friends and former employees.
Young Entrepreneurs Until Sun 30 Jul. Three young photographers have been commissioned to produce twelve portraits of young entrepreneurs. Portraits include Chris van der Kuyl of VIS interactive plc, Belinda Robertson of Cashmere Ltd and Jamie Byng of Canongate Books.
