On show at the City Art Centre are Hilary Lloyd who examines personal identity; Jim Lambie creates new work comprising refuse bags and pots of gloss paint; David Shrigley exhibits a selection of sculptures and Wolfgang Tillmans shows work from his series Soldiers — The Nineties. Johnny Spencer appears at all British Art Show venues with a series of Information Panels exploring the history and culture of Edinburgh’s galleries and Amikan Toren touts all the venues once the show has opened to decide where to place his Armchair Paintings.
