Artistic Director £27,426 - £29,424
An Artistic Director is required. who will have flair and experience in the arts and a track record in music development. A minimum of three years‘ relevant experience in arts development, programming and events management at a senior level is essential as is practical experience of the role the arts can play in community led regeneration. Marketing Officer
£19,827 - £21,636
To market all aspects of the Tolbooth's operations including artistic. education. training and trading activity. You will have a minimum of three years' marketing experience preferably within an arts or cultural context with a thorough knowledge of print. promotion, press, PR. web publishing and direct marketing.

Music Development Officer
(3 years fixed term)

You will implement an ambitious music development programme across the Stirling area in new and experimental music and sound and traditional music and song. A minimum of three years' relevant experience of community based music programming and project management is essential.

Fixed Term Travelling Gallery Administrative Assistant

The Travelling Gallery is a mobile exhibition space which is organised by the City of Edinburgh Council Heritage & Arts Division at the City Art Centre. Funded by the Scottish Arts Council" the Gallery provides greater opportunity for communities throughout Scotland to experience the quality and diversity of contemporary art at first hand.
Applicants must have excellent organisational and administrative skills as they will be required to prepare tour schedules. Experience of using word processing systems and creating spreadsheets, good communications skills and ability to work as part of a small team are essential requirements. They should also be able to understand and interpret the range of exhibitions in the Gallery.
The successful applicant must hold a current clean driving licence and be willing to travel throughout Scotland which may include occasional overnight stays.
It would be advantageous if you had worked with the public, including school groups, had experience of providing administrative support to a complex organisation and were able to show evidence of an interest in contemporary visual art.
*The Travelling Gallery has secured funding from the Scottish Arts Council until April 2003. This appointment will be a fixed term contract until this date. However, additional funding will be sought to continue the service well into the future.

Seasonal Sales & Reception Assistant

We need flexible, enthusiastic teamworkers to help run our busy shops and reception desks during the summer season. You must have experience of working with the public, preferably in a gift or similar retailing environment, the ability to operate tills, follow procedures relating to cash handling and stock control, communicate effectively and show evidence of turneracy.
The successful candidates must have a flexible approach and be able to work every Saturday and some Sundays.
An awareness of equal opportunities is essential. Keyboard skills and an ability to monitor sales performance would be an advantage.
Two of these posts are for 28 hours oer week and the other is for 15.5 hours per week. All three posts are for up to 15 weeks duration.
