THE AMAZING MR BONES Ages 4+. A late addition to the Festival, the Amazing Mr Bones brings his special brand of humour to Glasgow. Combining games, songs and audience participation, we meet PC Parrott as he investigates the case of Little Bunny Frou-Frou.

THE BRAVE LITTLE ELEPHANT Ages 3—8. Charlie the young elephant isn't very brave and when his friend Minnie falls into the hands of an evil giant, he needs all the courage he can muster to save her. Gila ’s New Stage Theatre Company pay their first visit to the Festival.

CATALINA AND THE WHALE Age 5+. Masters of shadow puppetry, Jack O’ Lantern present a vivid adaptation of the Spanish version of Cinderella. It tells the story of the young and pretty, orphaned Catalina who lives with her brother but her nasty Aunt Arancha is hatching a plot to kill her before the King of Spain learns of her beauty.

CINDERELLA ASHPUTTEL Ages 4—8. Dusty and dirty, having no bed to lie on, only a hearth among the ashes, Cinderella’s name of Ashputtel came about. One of the UK’s leading companies, Banyan Theatre Company, present a clever and stylish reworking of the classic story of Cinderella.

THE LITTLE DRAGON FROM DRAGONLAND Ages 5+. Being bullied at school isn’t much fun so when Scot meets a dragon suffering the same fate as him, they help each other to discover their self-esteem and confidence to face the bullies. THE LITTLE MERMAID Ages 5—10. Down beneath the waves in the kingdom of the sea, a little mermaid is curious to discover what life is like on dry land. Inspired by Hans Christian Andersen’s classic tale, award-winning Storybox Theatre company bring this moving story to life.

Through his struggle to show her his feelings, he learns that love cannot be bought and sold but must be earned. Told by a storyteller with hand-carved pup ets, Folding Theatre Puppet Company bring the well-known European olk tale to life.

MARTHA Ages 4+. Meet Martha the obstinate, eccentric old woman who lives by the sea. Self-reliant in her nature, she doesn’t need any friends or family around her until one day, her life begins to change when a seagull lands at her windowsill. MIDAS GOES F R OLD Ages 5+. The story of greedy King Midas with a unhealthy lust for gold. He demands that everything in his castle is turned to gold including his favourite chocolate.
