Creative Castlemilk Until Fri 21 Apr. Artist Patsy Forde worked with nursery, primary and secondary schools to develop projects on the theme of nursery rhymes. The results of the workshops are on display in the gallery consisting of three four-week long exhibitions.

If I Ruled The World Sun 9 Apr—Sat 20 May. Bryndis Snaebjornsdottir and Ross Sinclair curate and feature in a group show of work by eight Glasgow-based artists. Along with Claire Barclay, Martin Boyce, Roderick Buchanan, Simon Starling, Rose Thomas and Clara Ursitti, the artists travelled to Iceland to create CCA-commissioned work for The Living Art Museum in Reykjavik. In this show, the artists produce site- specific works for the gallery space, resulting from their experience of working together in Iceland. See preview.
Neal Beggs Glasgow-based artist Neal Beggs creates a new installation for the entrance corridor space at the venue, consisting of two large blocks of text on the corridor walls. One wall lists the 284 Scottish Munros (mountains over 3000ft) while opposite is a list of the 304 multi- storey tower blocks built in Glasgow between the 1950s and the 19705.

Glasgow Art Fair 2000 Thu 13—Sun 16 Apr. Scotland’s only annual art fair with over 30 galleries from all over the UK exhibiting, offering a diverse range of art including paintings, prints and photographs. This year also includes the opportunity to purchase pieces of work commissioned by the Glasgow Collection as part of Glasgow 1999. Artists include Martin Boyce, Rachel Whiteread, Andy Miller, Michael Craig-Martin and Richard Wentworth.

Efforts Of War - The Home Front Until Tue 16 May. An exhibition of lithographs commissioned by the British Ministry of Information in 1918. Featured in the show are works by C.R.W. Nevinson and AS. Hartick, plus contemporary photographs of Clydeside aircraft manufacturers, landgirls and women factory workers.
Artists At Harleys Until Sat 3 Jun. In the late 1950s, commercial printers in Edinburgh, Harley Brothers, encouraged young artists to produce and edition colour lithographs. In this exhibition, the work of Michael Ayrton, Elizabeth Blackadder, Robin Philipson and John Piper goes on display.
