I Phono at Alaska. llpm—3am. £8. Weekly. The new Fri line-up at Alaska includes some of the best DJ talent in Glasgow. The collective includes Paul ‘Pee Wee’ Welsh (Radio Clyde), Mark (Straight Ahead), Kev (Goodfoot) and Shu Hirata (World Service) who are set to bring together disparate styles from soul, deep funk and retro breaks in the bar area to future jazz and house in the main room. I Radar at Glasgow School of Art. 10pm—3am. £4 (£3). 14 Apr. Monthly. The Radar crew did a sterlingjob in hosting last month’s Rephlex shindig, and their brand of techno — basically not too muso, but not too obvious - makes tonight a safe bet without the obvious appeal of quality guests.

I Relief at The Arches. 11pm—3am. £8 (£6). Weekly. The Relief chaps have been sticking to their own considerable talents for a while, but return to adding the odd guest in the finest style: DJ Sneak does his impeccable house thing on 14 Apr.

Smooth disco courtesy of Andy Unger, Rodger, Pete Murphy and Wayne Dixon, who are keen to show that disco doesn’t just mean Daft Punk and their filter-happy peers, preferring instead the genuine classics the revivalists sample and, well, rip off.

The hard house super-club has reached the tender age of one in its Glasgow incarnation, and continues to offer seriously funky, pumped-up house to those in the know. Havana Regulars might be surprised to find out that they’ve been shaking hips to DJ Jazz's high octane blend of salsa, merengue, samba and flamenco for nine whole years. The last birthday shindig saw oodles of disappointed punters who didn’t make it in time to squeeze in, so arrive at 8pm on the dot or risk missing out on what promises to be the Latin night of the year so far. Subversion Launch WeekendThe long-awaited follow up to the Subculture mix CD hits the streets on Mon 3 Apr, and to celebrate the Subbie have set aside a Substitute weekend.
