Filth Until Sat 4 Mar. 7.30pm. £10 (£3). (Main Stage). Tam Dean Burn returns to the Citizens’ in this stage adaptation of Irvine Welsh’s most recent novel. Directed by Harry Gibson, Dean Burn plays no less than 50 characters in this sordid tale of sex, drugs, murder and police corruption. Formerly shown in one of the studio spaces before Christmas, this excellent production now makes it on to the main stage.
All My Sons Wed 8-Sat 11 Mar. 7.30pm (Sat mat 2.30pm). £10 (£5); all tickets £5 on Wed 8 Mar (eve) and Sat 11 Mar (matinee). (Main Stage). A mother, father and son, desperate for news of their missing son/brother during World War 11, find themselves laden with moral conflict in Arthur Miller’s first major success as a playwright. St Mungo’s Festival Fri 3—Sat 4 Mar. 7.30pm. £5 (£3). This two-day celebration of Glasgow’s rich tradition and culture starts with St Mungo's Fire on Saturday, featuring a host of poets, authors and musicians including Janice Galloway, Liz Lochhcad, Edwin Morgan and The McCluskey Brothers; followed by a look back at 1000 years of dance, drama and chant on Sunday in Celtic Spirit, with performances by Cappella Nova, The Scottish Plainsong Choir and harpist William Taylor.
KING'S THEATRE
