The latest signings to Massive Attack’s Melankolic label, produced by Mario ’Beastie Boys’ Caldato Jr., with help from Tim ’Mo’Wax’ Goldsworthy, Day One have all the right reference points and the first tracks to emerge sound promising. Live they should come into their own. Support comes from LSK, who feature the driving forces behind live hip hop dramatists Bedlam Ago Go.
