Luke Fowler creates his own ‘Social Experimental Situation‘ where members of the local community engage in personal, theoretical or sceptical debate over the issue of social control within their lives. THE DEAN GALLERY

Situated opposite the National Gallery of Modern Art, the new Dean Gallery is entirely devoted to art of the 20m century. Formerly a 19th century orphanage, it houses a large collection of work by Eduardo Paolozzi. as well as outstanding works drawn from the National Galleries' Dada and Surrealist collections, plus works by Giacometti. Picabia, Max Ernst and others. The upper galleries are given over to temporary exhibitions.
