Design Machine Until Sun 9 Jan. This interactive exhibition specially devised for children looks at the design process through a range of specially commissioned installations.

Glasgow At Our Feet Until Sun 9 Jan. Glasgow school pupils drew sites of specific architectural interest which in turn were used to create the design of a huge mannoleum floor in the gallery. Dunya - Glimpses Of Muslim Life Until late 1999. A new display exploring aspects of Muslim life with objects drawn from Glasgow Museums’ Muslim Art collections.

British Gas Wildlife Photographer Of The Year 1998 Until Sun 30 Jan. This annual competition attracts entries from photographers world-wide. The winning entry is Boxing Hares by Manfred Danegger of Germany.

Featured artists include Durer, Boucher, William and Robert Adam, William Chambers, Piranesi and Chippendale.

SCOTLAND STREET SCHOOL MUSEUM Museum Of Education, 225 Scotland Street, 287 0500. Mon-Thu & Sat 10am—5pm; Fri & Sun 11am-5pm. Free. Designed in 1904 by Charles Rennie Mackintosh and now home to archive material on education in Scotland from 1872 onwards. Reconstructed classrooms give a flavour of Victorian, Edwardian, World War II and 19605 school days.

Artism 2000 Until Mon 31 Jan. A major exhibition organised by the Scottish Society for Autistic Children in partnership with Autismo Burgos featuring over 134 artworks by autistic children and adults from all over Europe. Showing alongside the exhibition, are new artworks created by children who attended a workshop at Glasgow’s Project Ability.
