Edinburgh shouted a collective ‘way- hey' when Boogie Mo Dynamo resurfaced at the Bongo in the Festival. Since then. their monthly nights (in collaboration with the , excellent Headspin) have seen the queues outside the Bongo reach the Royal Mile. This issue sees Smack pick his four choice bits of vinyl. And wears some really nice wigs to boot.

The Temptations: ’Funky Music Sho Nuff Turns Me On' (Tamla Motown) The Afro years. One of the hottest all time dance tunes and a strong candidate for first tune of the Millennium.
Soul of Man: 'Serendipity EP’ (Finger Lickin' Records)
lt's a four track little beauty with something for every mood. 'Big Up The Noise’ is a bit of a fave with me.
. 7,. Wreckage Inc: ’Salvage' (Wall of Sound)
On the loyalty tip this, 'cos it's the only material possession that We ever got from him. The Alkaline mix and Suga B’s Spark Plug mix are worth checking out.
