Pavement sound like they are chasing their tail a little on current album 'I’ermr 'l'ii'i'liglit but Glasgow has always been a stronghold for them so they should be facing an appreciative crowd as usual. Salako are part of an increasingly unusual breed these days a band who can combine 60s influences with originality.

Elvis impersonator Steve Preston comes with a royal seal of approval, having appeared at the Royal Variety performance. And we all know those corgis love to rock ‘n’ roll. Preston’s show starts with the seminal 68 Comeback Special and goes right up to the tragic burger abuse period.
