I Skint at The Cathouse. I lpm—3am. £4 (£2). Weekly. lndie/grunge/chemical beats at Scotland’s number one rock club.
I Sly at Trash. l lpm—3am. £4 (£3). Weekly. They‘re all taking it in turns to hoof it back from Ibiza for this night. but generally you‘ll be getting Neil and Frog in the main room for big anthems and cheesy nonsense.
I Snake Pie at The l3th Note. l0pm—3am. £2.50. 5 Aug only. Rather odd night involving R&B. soul. raunch. freak. and the chance to dance on an artists' chalk doodlings. They say the last one in June went terribly well and hope for great things for this one.
I Solemusic at Alaska. I lpm—3am. £5 (£4). 5 Aug and monthly. Stevie Middleton brings the club manifestation of his top quality house and garage label Solemusic to Alaska for six special nights through the year. I Apartment at The Apartment. Ilpm—3am. £8. Weekly. Jim Da Best playing a clubby party mix at this good looking venue. with even better looking clientele.
I The Ark at The Tunnel. l().3()pm—3am. £7 (£5). Weekly. Your trio of professional caners Michael Kilkie. Scott Mackay and Zammo (Rhumba) living it large in the main room throwing out thumping hard house as good as you'll get anywhere in the country. Then there's Simon Foy in the second room not going quite as mad for it. but still bordering insanity in his own style.

I Bu dasole at Club Budda. l lpm—3am. £5. Weekly. Stevie Middleton. internationally renowned DJ and owner of Sole Music Records. continuing upstairs with his own particular brand of American deep house and garage for the people who've been dancing on the tables down in Bar Budda earlier.
I Bump ‘n' Hustle at Babaza. 6pm—3am (DJs from Ilpm). £5 (free before Ilpm). Weekly. A celebration of black music from Paul Traynor after Jamie Strang warms things up with funky R‘&'B.

l lpm—3am. £6 (£4). Weekly. Radio Clyde's George Bowie and international DJ producer Trevor Reilly (Manifesto) playing full-on house to a full house. An ‘unpretentious' (for that read not too many students). busy night.
I Gold 'n' Delicious at Archaos.
l lpm—3am. £6 (£4). Weekly. David Gilmore and Ryan Kerr playing quality house and garage amid the spectacle of the Friday night acts. Bungee jumping acrobats. stilt walkers and much madness. Jamie Strang also plays soul and R&B in bar one. Up in the Sky Bar Mathew Morton lays R&B. funk and garage.
I Goo foot at The Bedsit. 9pm-2am. l3 Aug and fortnightly. £4. Glasgow‘s best Northern soul night has now left the Sub Cltib and takes up residency here. The full crew of Scott Brown. Kev & Mark and Andrew Divine mix up the soul esoteric classics which earned them the respect they deserve from the west coast Fred Perry scooter boys and girls. Watch and learn.

Slam's Never Get Out The Boat Time to get yer knickers wet for the second last Slam boat party of the year, with Stuart and Orde rocking the curious floating glass house moored on the south side of the river with super salty Chicago house and Detroit Techno again. Trade The London gay club, now well established here as a night for the most extreme of behaviour. Slamming hard house from Trade residents and a catwalk for the more adventurous punter to get up on and have a bit of a wiggle. I can't imagine the Trade bunch wanting to show off, surely not. The Arches, Sat 7 Aug.
Ferry Corsten at Triumph The reigning king of trance Ferry Corsten (System F) returns to the club where he made his first UK appearance, joined tonight by his partner in the Gouryella project 0) Tisto. In attendance also will be residents Colin Tevendale (above), who arranged for him to come over the first time, and Steven McCreery. The Tunnel, Sat 7 Aug.
Divine With nine years of genre- jumping eclectism, Divine is pretty much the longest lasting weekly residency in Scotland. Get yourself along early for mixtapes, badges and a nice bit of cake. Mix with the stars, shake down and freak out. Glasgow School of Art. Sat 7 Aug.
