Uberclubbing
Given that clubbing is now firmly settled into the mainstream, it is no surprise that the liberclubs are heading out of their hometowns across the country. In the past. promoters have seen this as a moneymaking opportunity rather than an exercise in club evangelism, but this seems set to change as two clubs from down south are set to become well-loved fixtures on the
Scottish scene.
Edinburgh is now home to the outpost of the Cream empire who have gone all out to recreate the original, a task they found easier than you might imagine: ‘Cream in Liverpool has always been as much about the soundsystems and the lights as anything else,’ says Dave Grindall. ‘We don't really need to put banners up

Mary Kiani knew from the start that to recreate Trade's hedonism and underground gay vibe in Glasgow might be a little more tricky: 'I just couldn't do that - I've got to sell it on the music and the way that the DJs structure an evening as a musical journey that builds through the
