East Ayrshire Council manages museums and arts facilities for I20,000 residents and is now seeking an enthusiastic and committed officer to lead Arts and Cultural develo ment through implementation of the Councills Leisure Strategy and Performance Plans.
Based at the Dick Institute in Kilmarnock,
a facility with a national reputation for innovative arts and museums programmes, you will play a key role in delivering the Council’s commitment to decentralised services and community arts and will contribute to policy and strate development.
You wil have a relevant qualification in an arts related discipline, experience in arts administration, community arts and/or
public gallery programmes and knowledge
of arts funding systems. '
A full current driving licence is essential as
this post involves travel throughout the
area of the Council.
