Glasgow Cathedral

A stone-built church has stood on this site since 1136 and the lower church contains the shrine ofSt Mungo. who died in 603: however most of the present building dates between the 13th and 15th centuries. the most notable exception being the stained-glass windows. renowned as one of the finest post-war collections in the country.
Glasgow Zoopark

Glasgow Zoopark boasts a varied collection of animals. from lions to guinea pigs. with a particular highlight being the well-stocked reptile house. Hunterian Museum

What is it? The carnival is Europe’s largest indoor (unfair With amusements galore.
Any new rides? There is a complete new Juvenile range including a Jungle- themed ride, and the Helter Skelter makes its debut at the SECC. The centrepiece is the Spiderman which WI” have thrill-seekers climbing the walls and to be spun
round in three Simultaneous orbits.
What about the old favourites? The Ghost Train, Dodgem, Carousel, Simulator and the Big Wheel are all there for the traditionalists.
What about the payment system? Visnors can buy an 'All Rides' wristband for £14.50 which gives you unlimited access to any ride you deSire A Junior wristband is available at £8 for those between the heights of 1m and 1.4m. This is
not a joke.
What if you don't want a wristband? A minimum of £6 worth of vouchers must be purchased to get into the halls and redeemed for rides, games and
amusements.
Any exceptions? Adults wrth kids who have a wristband or the minimum amount
of vouchers
What if you want neither a wristband nor a voucher? Good hard cash W1” be accepted for bingo, the fortune teller, face—painting, food and drink and any coin-
